Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Assistant Manager - Retail Store, the Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, generating sales, merchandising, and safeguarding company assets.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Greet and acknowledge every customer, maintain solid product knowledge and perform all other aspects of customer service.
  2. Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
  3. Responsible for Customer Relationship Management.
  4. Perform post-sale follow-up and support.
  5. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
  6. Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
  7. Educate customers on Tbaytel’s products and services to ensure they make informed decisions.
  8. Communicate customer requests/concerns to management.
  9. Assist in completing price changes within the department.
  10. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
  11. Any other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Secondary School Diploma and 1 to 2 years experience in a retail and/or service environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Previous retail sales experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry, products and services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Possesses the ability to communicate with the public with the highest standards of business etiquette and integrity.

Condition of Employment
