What is Webmail?

In basic terms, Webmail allows TBayTel Internet customers to check or send messages from their "xxxx@tbaytel.net" email account from any computer. Click here to go to TBayTel's Webmail.


Why did the Webmail Interface change?

Webmail changed to allow TBayTel to offer to its customers:

  • An interactive and easy to use interface
  • Instant Messaging capabilities

The new Interface enables TBayTel to offer enhanced Webmail features in the future.


Where can I find more information about the features and settings for the new Webmail Interface?

Have you advised TBayTel Internet customers of the webmail change?

All existing TBayTel Internet customers have been sent an email on May 22, 2009 and May 29, 2009 advising of the change to TBayTel’s Webmail Interface. In addition the email included information about the service interruption that took place on June 2, 2009. Click here to view a copy of the email that was sent.


How do I access Webmail?

To access Webmail go to Email Setup to set up your account.


What is Advanced Spam Protection?

Advanced Spam Protection is a free service that allows you to take greater control of your inbox and effectively filter a higher percentage of viruses and spam. Advanced Spam Protection allows users to define allow and deny lists plus, determine an adjustable spam control threshold..


What do I do if I forget my password?

Since your webmail password can’t be recovered, we’ll quickly change your password when you use one of two options.

Option A

  1. Call the TBayTel Internet Help Desk 24/7 at 623-4400 or 1-800-264-9501.
  2. Provide your account number (located on the upper left corner of your phone bill) and username.

Option B

  1. Call TBayTel Customer Service at 623-4400 or 1-800-264-9501.
  2. Provide 2 pieces of acceptable identification and your account number.
