To Establish Your Speed Call List:
- Lift the handset and listen for dial tone.
- Press *74 (rotary phone: dial 1174).
- Listen for the beeping tone.
- Dial a speed-code. Choose any number between 2-9.
- Dial the telephone number you wish to assign to that speed-code. For long distance calls, be sure to include "1" and the area code.
- Press the # key (rotary phone: this step does not apply; however, you will encounter a 4 second pause after you dial the telephone number).
- Listen for the confirmation tone to indicate that your speed-code is established.
- Hang up.
- Follow this procedure to record the next code and telephone number.
- Be sure to hang up after each number is programmed.
