Tbaytel will be performing necessary work in order to prepare our towers for the launch of 5G. This work may result in degradation to our services including calls, text, and data, during each maintenance window. The following list is upcoming scheduled work:
During full LTE outages customers will experience slower data speeds but would still have the ability to make and receive calls, text messages, and use data. Any areas experiencing an HSPA shutdown should visit tbaytel.net/hspaShutdown to check if your device supports VoLTE. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.
Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services starting June 24th to Sept 13th with work scheduled to take place between 8:00am to 6:30pm. During this maintenance customers in the Longlac area may experience a loss of mobility service, including calls, SMS and data, during the scheduled work hours. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.
Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Internet services on July 25th between the hours of 2:00am to 6:00am. During this maintenance some customers in the Red River ward in Thunder Bay may experience a loss of Internet services lasting up to 30 minutes. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window or area are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.
