Maintenance & Outages

Maintenance of Tbaytel systems and networks is necessary to ensure Tbaytel delivers quality service to you, our valued customers. We apologize for the inconvenience as we continue to make significant improvements to our Network to ensure we are meeting your expectations. We thank you for your patience and understanding, and continued support.

If you are experiencing a loss of service outside of a maintenance window, please power off your affected Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again. If the service is not restored, please contact Tbaytel Technical Support.


Maintenance Alert - Connected Home - May 19-June 10

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Connected Home & Connected Business services across the region with work taking place between May 17th and ending June 10th. Maintenance will occur between 1:00a.m. and 6:00a.m. in the following areas:
  • May 19 – Surprise Lake, Marathon
  • May 20 – Lithium Drive, Lakehshore Drive, MacKenzie
  • May 24 – Kenora, Keewatin, Mission
  • May 25 – Riverview Drive, Mapleward Road
  • May 26 – Current River, Slate River, River Terrace
  • May 27 – Dryden, Murillo, One Island
  • June 7 – Vickers Street
  • June 8 – Shuniah, Rosslyn
  • June 9 – Court Street
  • June 10 – Fort Frances, Riverdale
Customer in the corresponding areas may experience a loss of service lasting no longer than 10 minutes. Customers experiencing no service outside of the maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering it back on agian.

 

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - McKellar - May 24-29

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work starting May 24th, possibly lasting until May 29th.  During this maintenance, customers in the McKellar area may experience a loss of LTE services.  Calls, SMS and data should remain unaffected. Customers experiencing no service are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.

 

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Court St S. - May 24-June 7

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work starting May 24th, possibly lasting until June 7th.  During this maintenance, customers in the area around Court St S. may experience a loss of LTE services.  Calls, SMS and data should remain unaffected. Customers experiencing no service are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.

 

Scam Alert - Phishing Messages - Dec 2

Please be advised that Tbaytel has been made aware of a phishing scam where customers are asked to upgrade their email or their email will be deactivated. As always, we advise all customers to ignore emails and text messages which the sender is not known, and avoid clicking any links.
