Maintenance of Tbaytel systems and networks is necessary to ensure Tbaytel delivers quality service to you, our valued customers. We apologize for the inconvenience as we continue to make significant improvements to our network to ensure we are meeting your expectations. Troubleshooting Tip: If you are experiencing a loss of service outside of a maintenance window; power off the affected Tbaytel equipment, then power it back on after 30 seconds. For step-by-step instructions, visit the Support section and select the affected product.

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Longlac - June 24-Sept 13

Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services starting June 24th to Sept 13th with work scheduled to take place between 8:00am to 6:30pm.  During this maintenance customers in the Longlac area may experience a loss of mobility service, including calls, SMS and data, during the scheduled work hours. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Neebing - July 6-17

Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 6th to July 17th. During this maintenance customers in the Neebing ward, specifically those in the area around Mountain Rd & Loch Lomond Rd, will experience a full loss of LTE and may experience a degradation of mobility service, including calls, SMS and data, during the scheduled work hours. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile device for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.

Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Sioux Lookout - July 9-22

In preparation for the launch of 5G, Tbaytel will be performing upgrades to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 8th to July 22nd. During this upgrade, customers in the Sioux Lookout area will experience degradation to their Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, throughout the upgrade window as well as the loss of LTE services for the duration of the maintenance. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.

Maintenance & Outage Alert - Mobility - Manitouwadge - July 15-29

In preparation for the launch of 5G, Tbaytel will be performing upgrades to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 15th to July 29th. During this upgrade, customers in the Manitouwadge area will experience degradation to their Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, throughout the upgrade window. On July 22 customers will experience intermittent outages of voice, text and data service. As part of this upgrade, existing 3G HSPA service will be shut down impacting customers that do not have a Voice over LTE (VoLTE) supported device. Visit tbaytel.net/hspaShutdown to check if your device supports VoLTE.  Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.

Maintenance Alert - Home Phone - Gillies & Nolalu - July 17

Tbaytel will be performing maintenance to its Home Phone services on July 17th between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm.  During this maintenance customers in the Gillies & Nolalu area may experience a loss of their Home Phone services with the outage lasting up to 4 hours.

In preparation for the launch of 5G, Tbaytel will be performing upgrades to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 19th to August 2nd. During this upgrade, customers in the Schreiber area will experience degradation to their Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, throughout the upgrade window. Additionally, customers in the maintenance area will lose LTE services between July 29th to August 2nd. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.

Maintenance & Outage Alert - Mobility - Marathon - July 20-Aug 2

In preparation for the launch of 5G, Tbaytel will be performing upgrades to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 20th to August 2nd. During this upgrade, customers in the Marathon area will experience degradation to their Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, throughout the upgrade window. Additionally, customers in the maintenance area will lose LTE services between July 25th to August 2nd. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.

In preparation for the launch of 5G, Tbaytel will be performing upgrades to its Mobility services with work taking place between July 22th to August 2nd. During this upgrade, customers in the Atikokan area will experience degradation to their Mobility services, including calls, SMS, and data, as well as a loss of LTE services throughout the upgrade window. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.
