Planned Outage - Connected Home & Mobility - Sept 22
Please be advised, Hydro One has a planned power outage happening on Sunday, September 22 between 7:00am to 9:00pm EST. During this outage Tbaytel's Connected Home and Mobility services will be unavailable.
5G - Ongoing Maintenance
Tbaytel will be performing necessary work in order to prepare our towers for the launch of 5G. This work may result in degradation to our services including calls, text, and data, during each maintenance window. The following list is upcoming scheduled work:
- Hearst: LTE outage between Sept 3 - Sept 16, HSPA shutdown on Sept 19
- Goulias River: HSPA degradation between Sept 19 - Sept 22, LTE outage between Sept 22 - Sept 24
- Longlac: LTE outage between Sept 23 - Sept 30
- Rainy River: LTE outage between Oct 3 - Oct 4, HSPA shutdown on Oct 7
- Crozier: LTE outage between Oct 10 - Oct 11, HSPA shutdown on Oct 15
During full LTE outages customers will experience slower data speeds, but will still have the ability to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages and use data. Any areas experiencing an HSPA shutdown should visit tbaytel.net/hspaShutdown to check if your device supports VoLTE. Customers experiencing no service outside the indicated area or maintenance window are asked to power off their Tbaytel equipment for 30 seconds before powering back on again.
Maintenance Alert - Mobility - HWY 17 - Sept 24
Please be advised, Tbyatel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services on September 24th with work scheduled to take place between 10:00am to 2:00pm. During this maintenance customers travelling along Highway 17 on the north side of Marathon may experience service degradation, possibly lasting the full duration of the maintenance with no outage expected. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile devices for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.
Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Fort Frances - Sept 25
Please be advised, Tbyatel will be performing maintenance to its Mobility services on September 25th with work scheduled to take place between 12:00am to 4:00am. During this maintenance customers in Fort Frances, Couchiching First Nations, as well as customers travelling along Highway 11 will experience a loss of service, including calls, SMS and data, possibly lasting the full duration of the maintenance. Customers experiencing no service outside the maintenance window are asked to power off their mobile devices for 30 seconds before powering it back on again.
