In 2013, Tbaytel embarked on a multi-year plan to deliver fibre-optic technology across our serving territory to help create a smarter, more connected region. As of 2023, Tbaytel has covered 99.4 per cent of our defined fibre coverage footprint in Thunder Bay, and has completed regional fibre builds in Fort Frances, Dryden, Kenora, Keewatin, Marathon and Terrace Bay.
