How create and manage contact groups

Setting up email groups on Tbaytel webmail

This article shows the steps involved in creating and editing groups as well as how to email the group.

 

Adding a new group

  1. Log into your tbaytel Webmail
  2. On the left side of the screen, click on the person icon
  3. Click on the plus sign beside the word "Group"
  4. Enter the the title you want the group to be called (example: Family). You can also set a colour for the group.
  5. Enter the email addresses for the people you want to be in this group. As you are typing the email address it will search your existing contacts to help you find the email address if you already have it in your contacts list. Otherwise it will next prompt you to add the email address to your contacts. You must fill out a name for the contact and then click the Create button.
  6. Once you have added all the email addresses you want to group click the Save button at the top right corner of your screen.
  7. When you reload the page you will see the new group listed

How to edit a group

  1. Log into your tbaytel Webmail
  2. On the left side of the screen, click on the person icon
  3. Under Groups click on the group you want to edit
  4. The contacts within that group will appear and you can click Remove to remove an email address from the group. You can add additional addresses to the group by filling in the Add Contacts box and clicking the Add button. Click the Save button at the top right once you have made all the changes you want.

 

How to send an email to a group

  1. Log into your tbaytel Webmail
  2. Click on the pencil button as you normal would to send an email
  3. To the far right in the To: field click on the blue plus sign button
  4. A list will open up with all your contacts and groups. Put a check mark in the box beside the group you want to email and click the Add button at the bottom right of your screen
