Tbaytel Webmail is available for free to all Tbaytel Internet customers. If you are an existing customer looking to obtain a webmail account please contact Tbaytel’s 24-hour Technical Support team at 807-623-4400 (Toll Free: 1-800-264-9501). If you already have a webmail account and credentials with Tbaytel please follow the setup instructions below to get started.
Tbaytel Webmail utilizes SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) Authentication which enables users to set their specifications to ensure emails remain secure and encrypted. This authentication method confirms that users attempting to send outgoing email through the SMTP server have permission.
Tbaytel Webmail also utilizes IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) to allow users to access, organize, read and sort email messages without having to download them first because Tbaytel already has them stored for users on a server.
Any changes made via IMAP will synchronize across all devices configured this way. This includes sending, moving or deleting messages. Since the Email Messages are stored on our side, it is important to delete Emails periodically from the server to avoid your inbox from reaching maximum capacity. Reaching 100% capacity will result in Emails failing to be received as the mail server is full.
