Thunder Bay, Ontario (Dec. 19, 2022) – Tbaytel has worked hard to bring the latest evolution of wireless technology to northern Ontario and will launch 5G services, powered by Ericsson, in core areas of Thunder Bay in January 2023 with continued expansion throughout the year.

Ontario’s northernmost brewery, Lake of the Woods Brewing Company has been making beer in a converted firehouse in Kenora since 2013. An instant success, the communities of Northwestern Ontario from Fort Frances to Red Lake to Thunder Bay quickly embraced the company and its beer.

Tbaytel has officially launched its state-of-the-art Fibre service to customers in Marathon. With installations well underway, customers in Marathon can now access Tbaytel’s five-product telecommunications bundle in their homes and businesses – including mobility, Internet, TV, phone and security – all from a single provider at competitively priced rates.
