Tbaytel was excited to submit a proposal for exclusive primary naming rights for the City’s new Indoor Turf Facility and together with the City of Thunder Bay are proud to announce that Tbaytel was awarded that opportunity. The proposed name, the Tbaytel Multiplex, was officially approved and ratified by City Council on Tuesday, November 4th.

Tbaytel is pleased to announce the release of its 2024 Community Report, which centers on the theme "Shaping the Community Together." This year’s report highlights Tbaytel’s continued commitment to fostering growth, enhancing connectivity, and strengthening its relationships with local organizations and residents in Thunder Bay and the surrounding areas.

The Tbaytel Board of Directors are pleased to announce Paul Norris as Tbaytel’s incoming President and CEO, effective October 1, 2024.

Tbaytel continues to bolster its 5G coverage in northern Ontario after the results of the recent 3800 MHz spectrum auction by Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) Canada.
