Thunder Bay, Ont. (June 20,2025) – Tbaytel is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its latest Tbaytel for Good Community Fund, awarding a total of $30,000 to six outstanding community projects. These incredible organizations across our region will now put their awards to great use, implementing or supporting much-needed initiatives that will benefit our community.

A diverse panel of community judges carefully reviewed and scored 59 submissions based on their impact, beneficiaries, feasibility, and budget. Tbaytel takes immense pride in the pivotal role the Tbaytel for Good Community Fund plays, demonstrating our commitment to being a supportive neighbour and contributing positively to the communities we serve.

"Each year, we eagerly anticipate the impressive submissions and the vital work being done across Northern Ontario," says Kaitlin Gaspar, Public Relations Communication Coordinator at Tbaytel. "This year, the judges faced a particularly tough decision as the scores were incredibly close among the top contenders. Ultimately, the top scoring three projects received their full funding requests. The remaining dollars were divided equality amongst the next highest scores to ensure that more good could be spread across these impactful projects."

Tbaytel can't wait to see the inspiring journey ahead for these six winning projects as they work to uplift our community. Tbaytel wants to express our sincere gratitude to the esteemed Tbaytel for Good Community Fund Judges Panel for their invaluable dedication in selecting these remarkable initiatives.
