The best way to be 5G ready is to ensure you have a 5G capable phone and an LTE SIM card. You don’t necessarily need a new phone. More recent phone models are already 5G capable. This includes any Samsung S22 or newer and iPhone 12 or newer. If you’re shopping for a new phone or an upgrade, look for the “5G Ready” icon.
