If you are planning on bringing a cellphone from another provider to Tbaytel there are a few things to make sure.
Cell phones purchased in Canada December 2017 and later are unlocked. This means that any carrier’s SIM card will work in the phone. Phones purchased prior will need to be unlocked from the originating carrier.

Make sure that your cellphone's software is up to date. If you own an iPhone and are uncertain about how to do that please read the How do I update my iPhone's iOS software. If you have an Android phone please be sure to check the manufactures documentation.
If you have purchased your phone out of the country you may need to double check that it can connect to the frequencies that Tbaytel towers work at. Most phones will, but it is a good thing to double check.
