Tbaytel for Good Community Fund is back to support our region
Thunder Bay, Ont. (Apr. 10 2024) – The Tbaytel for Good Community Fund is looking for some great ideas that will make a difference in our community as Tbaytel announced Wednesday that it will award up to $30,000 in grants again this year. From Wednesday, April 10 until Tuesday, May 21 at 4 p.m. EST, Tbaytel is inviting teachers, students, parents, volunteers, not-for-profit groups, coaches, community members, associations and individuals from across its serving territory to apply for funding and make the places we live better through a project, idea or initiative.
“We look forward to launching the Community Fund every year, giving individuals and organizations an opportunity to tell us about their need or about an idea they have to enhance their community.” said Tbaytel Communication and Brand Manager, Agnes Notarbartolo.
“As one of the judges on the voting panel, I am always inspired by the submissions we receive. It is so heartwarming to learn about all the good that is being done and we are proud to be able to support the ideas and make a difference. “
The Tbaytel for Good Community Fund is designed to be inclusive, supporting initiatives of all different scopes. Submissions can be for anything from equipment and supplies, to the development of new client programming. Past winners have included educational programming, community patrols, arts projects and more. The submission process is easy, and just takes a 60-second video and a few questions to be considered. Winners will be selected by a judging panel of diverse volunteer community members with an announcement made Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Submissions for this year’s Tbaytel for Good Community Fund can be for any amount from $100 up to $10,000 per project, allowing for the possibility of all kinds of projects and more winners than ever before.
