If a security system is programmed to dial a telephone number in order to transmit emergency signals to a central monitoring station, it may be affected by the introduction of 10-digit local dialing. In some cases the preprogrammed telephone number in the security system is already 10-digits, while in others, it is not. If you are a Tbaytel Security customer, Tbaytel will ensure your system is 10-digit ready. If you are with another security provider, you should reach out to confirm your system is 10-digit ready.
