Other carriers in the 807 area code began implementing 10-digit dialing for both mobility and landline networks beginning April 1. Tbaytel was in the process of upgrading its existing landline and voice network. As such, 10-digit dialing could not be implemented for Home Phone and Business Voice Customers until that work was completed. This work and augmented timeline will not impact Tbaytel’s ability to implement access to 9-8-8 on November 30, 2023.
