What should I do if I can't make a phone call while roaming in the US?

Steps to follow if you're unable to call when travelling in the United States.

Your phone may not be automatically connecting to a US network. Try to manually connect your phone to T-Mobile. In order to manually connect phone follow these steps:

Apple iOS

  • Go to Settings
  • Select Cellular 
  • Select Network Selection
  • Turn off Automatic 
  • Select T-Mobile
  • Attempt to make a phone call
     

Android OS
Note: every Android is slightly different, but all should follow this basic steps:

  • Go to Settings
  • Select Mobile Network 
  • Select Network operators 
  • Select T-Mobile 
  • Attempt to make a phone call
