These are some helpful tips for what to do if your iPhone has no service when in Canada

Restart your iPhone

1. Press and hold down the volume button side power button until the power-off slider appears
2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to fully turn off
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo
4. Once your iPhone has restarted, check to see if you have service on the top left corner of the screen

Make sure Airplane Mode is turned off

1. Go into Settings
2. Check to make sure the toggle switch beside Airplane Mode is turned off and gray

Check Network Settings

1. Go into Settings
2. Go into Cellular
3. Go into Network Selection
4. Turn off the automatic toggle switch so it is gray. Your iPhone will now do a scan for available cellular networks and can take up to a minute for it to complete the scan
5. If Tbaytel shows up in the list of available networks, tap on it to connect to it. If you see Tbaytel-EXT you will not be able to connect to the Tbaytel-EXT network.
6. If you do not see Tbaytel as an available network, then you are not within the coverage area
7. If you see the Tbaytel Network but it does not connect to it when you tap on it you may have to perform a Network Settings Reset.

Network Settings Reset

Performing a network settings reset will also erase any saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth devices. You will need to re-connect to any previous Wi-Fi networks and re-enter the password.

1. Go into Settings
2. Go into General
3. Go into Transfer or Reset iPhone at the bottom of the page
4. Tap Reset
5. Tap Reset Network Settings
6. Confirm that you want to do the reset
7. Your iPhone will restart automatically - if the phone does not reboot automatically - reboot it yourself.
8. Once your iPhone has restarted, check to see if you have service
