Devices sold prior to December 1, 2017 were locked and were not able to be used on another Carrier's network unless the device was unlocked. In order to verify if your device is unlocked you will need to insert another Carrier’s SIM card into the device. If the device asks for an unlock code or says SIM Not Supported, then the phone is locked.
