Identify Your Modem

Tbaytel offers a variety of modems. These modems have been upgraded over the years to ensure we are providing the highest quality of service. It is important to be able to identify which modem you have while troubleshooting.

Connect Hub+

Connect Hub Plus

The Connect Hub+ is compatible with the Tbaytel WiFi App which allows more control over your home WiFi network.

LED Light Indicator

  • Green - Internet connected

  • Blue - Alexa is listening

  • Red - Service issue, contact Technical Support

Ports & Buttons (from top to bottom)

  • WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) - Learn more about WPS.

  • Reset button - Only press when advised by a Tbaytel Technical Support Representative.

  • Phone Ports (x2) - Used to provide Home Phone services through your home.

  • Ethernet Ports (x4) - Used to provide wired Internet services to other devices in your home.

  • WAN - Incoming Internet signal from your Optical Network Terminal (ONT).

  • USB - Used for diagnostic purposes only. Do not plug anything into the USB port.

  • Power - Provides power for the device.

Front LED Indicators

  • Power - Indicates if the device is receiving power from an outlet.

  • Broadband -Indicates a Fibre connection  

  • Service - Indicates if the Internet signal is coming from the ONT

  • WiFi 2.4GHz - Will be green if a 2.4GHz WiFi connection is enabled

  • WiFi 5 GHz - Will be green if a 5GHz WiFi connection is enabled

  • Ethernet 1-4 - Will be green if an ethernet cable is plugged into the port and the connected device is active.

  • Phone 1-2 - Will be green if a phone line is plugged into the port with an active phone connected.

  • USB - This light should always be off.

This device can stand on its side or can be laid down when the stand is removed.

  • USB - Used for diagnostic purposes only. Do not plug anything into the USB port.

  • A/VDSL - This light should always be on, it indicated the connection between the modem & Tbaytel. 

  • Gb ETH - This amber light should always be on, also indicates the connection between the modem & Tbaytel.

  • Ethernet Ports (x4) - Used to provide wired Internet services to other devices in your home.

  • USB - Used for diagnostic purposes only. Do not plug anything into the USB port.

  • Reset Button - Only press when advised by a Tbaytel Technical Support Representative.

  • Power Port - Provides power for the device.

  • Power Button - Used to turn the device off and on.

  • Power Button - Used to turn the device off and on.

  • Power Port - Provides power for the device.
