How do I setup Wifi Calling on my iPhone?

How to set up WiFi calling on an Apple device.

Go into your iPhone settings and do the following:

  1. Select Phone.
  2. Select WiFi Calling.
  3. Turn on WiFi Calling.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions if it is your first time doing this. The status bar will display “Tbaytel WiFi” when WiFi Calling is ready to use.
To use WiFi Calling, you will need the following:
  • A monthly Postpaid voice and data plan. Prepaid customers can’t use WiFi Calling.
  • An LTE SIM installed in your device.
  • An iPhone 6S or any later iPhone model with iOS 9 or later installed. In addition you need to remember to update your carrier settings when prompted to do so at the end of the OS installation.

If you have these things, make sure your device’s WiFi Calling feature is switched on so you can make calls and send messages over WiFi.

Your compatible device must have been purchased from Tbaytel. If you have a non-Tbaytel iPhone, WiFi Calling may work, but we can’t ensure that the feature will work properly on your device.

If you’re having trouble activating the WiFi Calling feature, contact Tbaytel directly by calling 807-623-4400 or toll free at 1-800-264-9501
